The Hynamics Legal Department provides support and assistance to the operational teams (BD and DI) during all stages of the project (development, construction, operation-maintenance) with lawyers assigned to each market (mobility, industry and e-fuels) and who can intervene in other markets and countries as required (e.g. support from a German lawyer in the negotiation of an EPC contract in the UK).
The challenges of the Legal Department are to provide its expertise in the drafting and negotiation of strategic contracts relating to projects while ensuring compliance with the governance principles of Hynamics and the EDF Group: It also drafts and negotiates all FEED, EPC and O&M technical contracts. In addition, the Legal Department adapts the contract templates it has created since the start of Hynamics' activity and as projects develop, based on feedback from the first projects.
The legal support and expertise that the legal team provides means that each member of the Legal Department develops a fairly broad set of skills, such as :
- Business law
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
- Company law
- Insurance management,
- Intellectual and industrial property,
- Competition law,
- Real Estate Law Public Law.
