Challenges & Perspectives
In order to achieve its objectives in the fight against global warming, the Vallée Sud - Grand Paris local authority is implementing its PCAET (Plan Climat Air Énergie Territorial), which aims to act on the following points: reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality.
The Vallée Sud Hydrogène project addresses these 2 points by creating a hydrogen ecosystem based on 2 distribution stations (Chatenay -Malabry and Bagneux) and a 5MW electrolytic production unit to power 27 household refuse collection vehicles, 30 public transport buses and private operators in the IdF region.
This project has the triple backing of the IdF Region, ADEME and Europe.
