Hynamics in key figures

  • 2017

    EDFGroup is interested in hydrogen as an energy storage solution. Quickly, low-carbon hydrogen reveals its full potential to supply energy and decarbonize industry and heavy transport through electrolysis using renewable electricity.

  • 2019

    In 2018, Christelle Rouillé takes over the leadership of the "H2 by EDF" project, with the active support of Jean-Bernard Levy, President of EDF. In April 2019, Hynamics is officially established with an expert founding team and a validated business model.

  • 2020

    The team was strengthened at the end of 2019. Since then, it has doubled every year. A first major success comes in October 2020 with the commissioning of a hydrogen station (1 MW) in Auxerre (France) to power the buses of Auxerrois. 

  • 2021

    Hynamics opens its first subsidiary in Germany.

  • 2024

    Hynamics inaugurated its second station in Belfort (1MW) and opened its second subsidiary in the United Kingdom.
