Raphaël Hirtz

CEO of Hynamics Deutschland

With a background in energy engineering from Arts et Métiers, Raphaël HIRTZ has devoted 30 years of his career to the EDF group. He started in France in the commercial sector when the electricity markets were opened, before taking on managerial responsibilities in various subsidiaries of the group in Spain, Germany, Italy and Poland. These subsidiaries specialised in energy efficiency services for industrial customers and local authorities.

Since September 2020, Raphaël HIRTZ has held the position of Chief Executive Officer of e2m, an EDF subsidiary in Germany, where he is in charge of renewable energy and flexibility trading on the German market. He is also Chief Executive Officer of the German subsidiary of EDF Solar Solutions.

Since January 1, 2025, Raphaël HIRTZ will join Hynamics, a company offering low-carbon and renewable hydrogen solutions for industry and heavy mobility, as well as for the production of e-fuel. He will take on the responsibility of Managing Director of the German subsidiary based in Berlin. For 20 years, Raphaël HIRTZ has nurtured a real passion for the subjects of energy performance, sobriety and decarbonization of industry.
