A hydrogen production and distribution station supplying 5 buses in the Auxerre urban transport network and 3 commercial vehicles.
Challenges and prospects
The aim is to increase the production capacity (3 MW by 2026) and hosting capacity of the facilities, in order to meet the growing demand for hydrogen mobility, particularly on the railways.
In addition to production, this hydrogen hub will create economic activity and jobs around hydrogen applications, innovate in various hydrogen-related areas such as vehicle maintenance and retrofitting, and train young engineers in the new hydrogen-related professions.
