Decarbonising 100% of the hydrogen needs of industrial sites in Chemical Valley
Challenges & Perspectives
The aim is to decarbonise 100% of the hydrogen needs of industrial sites in the Chemical Valley, which are currently supplied by grey hydrogen. The 85 MW plant will be able to produce up to 11,000 tonnes of low-carbon hydrogen per year, avoiding the emission of 83,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) every year.
Reduce dependence on fossil natural gas: sovereignty over low-carbon hydrogen.
- Helping to decarbonise the Polyamide 6.6 value chain.
- The project is located in the heart of the Chemical Valley, opening up opportunities for collaboration.
